How to get here

Travelling by car Use postcode PH21 1NL to find us on your navigation device – though please note sat navs are not always reliable in this area. Parking is available in the centre of the park in front of our gift shop, with additional parking available to the left past our owls. You do not have to pay to park.

Travelling by public transport Both Stagecoach and Citylink operate regular bus services to Aviemore.

The local Stagecoach bus number 39/M39 service coming from Carrbridge/Aviemore or Newtonmore stops at the bottom of our entrance road – you will then have a walk of around half a mile to our pay kiosks. Our stop is between Kincraig and Kingussie.

Bricktastic Beasts

Celebrate the holiday with our brick sculpture experience which inspires creativity and wonder – one brick at a time!

Perfect for families, brick fans and animal lovers alike, this exhibition offers a chance to marvel at the artistry, take fun photos and explore the park in a whole new way. Best of all it is included for free in your ticket.

These displays are carefully crafted and delicate, and we want every visitor to enjoy them in perfect condition. By respecting the barriers you’re helping ensure that everyone has the chance to experience these fantastic builds just as they were meant to be seen.

Red pandas

We are thrilled to welcome red pandas back to the park with the arrival of Priya from Edinburgh Zoo! We hope you enjoy seeing her in the brand-new habitat.

As she has just moved up to her new home she may be a little shy as she gets used to her new surroundings. If you can’t see her at first we recommend coming back later to have the best chance of seeing her.

Scotland’s Wildlife Discovery Centre

Don’t forget, we’re also home to Scotland’s Wildlife Discovery Centre, so even if the weather turns a bit wet, there’s still plenty to see and do indoors.

Make the most of your visit by exploring this exciting addition to the park. With three fantastic new buildings, you can dive into an interactive exhibition, discover our conservation work from the hilltop den, enjoy a bite to eat in our new cafe and explore the gift-shop for your own zoovenir.

It’s the perfect way to stay dry, learn something new and make your visit even more memorable.

Catering options

We have recently renovated our cafe and gift shop. We’re especially excited to welcome Highland Hog Roasts, who are joining us to serve up a tasty selection of freshly made sandwiches, delicious sweet treats and hot and cold drinks.

Don’t miss our food vans who will be offering everything from tasty burgers to doughnuts and ice cream!

Whether you’re looking for a quick bite or a cosy spot to relax, it’s the perfect place to refuel and take a break during your day at the park.

You’re also welcome to bring your own lunch and have a picnic!

Booking in advance

Booking online in advance is the best way to avoid disappointment as we can sell out of tickets during busy periods. You also save money by booking online!

We highly recommend arriving as close to your time slot as possible, but your ticket will be valid until last entry at 4pm if needed. Please don’t worry if you are running a little late - we completely understand things don’t always go to plan.

Most importantly

Last but certainly not least, please remember to respect our teams, animals, signage and other visitors. We are here to make sure you enjoy your day at the park!

Our keepers and veterinary teams ensure all our animals receive the very best diet catered to their individual needs. Please do not try to feed any of our animals, you could cause unnecessary harm. Likewise, be careful not to drop anything into habitats – we can’t guarantee it will be returned without bite marks.

Do not bang on the glass or make loud noises to get the attention of any animals. This can cause distress and makes it less likely you’ll be able to see all our amazing animals. We know it can be exciting but quiet voices are the best way to ensure a great visit for everyone.

Thanks again to everyone who has and continues to support our wildlife conservation charity – if the animals could say ‘thank you’, they would! Together, we can create a world where nature is protected, valued and loved.

Start planning your Easter adventure!
