How many people can be booked in for an experience?
Our Keeper Experience slots are designed for a maximum of two participants. Please note that if you only book one person another participant might already be booked in that time slot.
Each participant needs their own voucher in order to take part.
Do I have to pay entry to Highland Wildlife Park?
No, your keeper experience voucher covers your admission to Highland Wildlife Park. However, anyone accompanying you will need to pay entry (unless they are a member or have a voucher). Entry tickets will need to be purchased online in advance. Please note, free admission is part of the voucher value and is not transferable to another visitor.
All of our experiences also include free car parking and a 10% discount in our Gift Shop.
Do I still need to wear a face covering during my Keeper Experience?
We ask participants to wear a face covering to protect our animals which are susceptible to Covid-19. This will only be for short periods of time but please let us know if you are medically exempt.
Accompanying adults are also asked to wear a face covering as they might be required to enter the enclosures.
Can I bring anyone with me when I’m doing my experience?
Yes, please bring loved ones along to experience your day with you. They won’t be able to go into enclosures with you but they can see you from the public viewing areas and take lots of pictures. They will need to book their tickets online in advance. Click here to purchase your tickets.
I’m a member, do I get a discount?
Yes, our members are entitled to a 10% discount. Please email hwp-keeperexperiences@rzss.org.uk to enquire about the discount code.
Will my experience be cancelled if the weather is bad?
Our experiences go ahead in all kinds of weather. Just make sure you wear layers or waterproof clothing and we’re sure you will have a great time. Occasionally we shut Highland Wildlife Park due to really bad snow, but if it happens we can rebook your experience for another suitable date.
